Christopher D'ron Jones aka Getcashjiff was born in Monroe Louisiana.he began rapping in the 3rd grade!! His 1st chance to expose his talent was during the 6th grade at Crosley School where he participated in a D.A.R.E. rap contest!! It was here where he found his passion and began beating on desk in class and rhyming to his peers during lunch break. In highschool he was know as one of the closest writers and freestyle rappers in the streets of Monroe .This led to bigger opportunities with him performing at local high schools and eventually getting to open up for 8 ball and Mjg,Uncle Luke and U.G.K. at the historical Grambling University . He later joined B.M.C. rap crew from Monroe and became a part of rap coalitions such as 3 Deep Killers,Little rascals and Missionary Hustle !! It was within these crews he partnered with Roe city underground,Chilly G,Cash Double trouble,4th Dimension,fatmac da great and Da Moore boyz ,Big chief ,knowledge, trulia Monroe, Fila Al, King Scratch, Stacy g, Scott D, 2much ,Zapp kapone Twinz!! The local Grammy Awards producers Al &Ray led in the production on most of Getcashjiff early projects. He credits Geto Boys ,UGK,8 Ball &MJG,Twister ,LL Cool J,NWA,E-40 Yukmouth Da bay area And Los Angeles County as his big influences !! Getcashjiff has relocated to sunny southern California and is currently in the studio working on his new project .
